The Dourie Farming Diaries - The installation of our new solar array at our pig unit at North Barsalloch

During July we have been excited to witness the installation of our new solar array at our pig unit at North Barsalloch. Generating power from the Dumfries & Galloway sun is not only satisfying but also a great step towards all natural energy.  The solar panels are ground mounted and we now have a total of 250kw solar and 33kw wind power powering the piggery.  #greenenergy!
