Our own Rory has been involved in an initiative, called FastBreeders, for a number of years now. The aim of the project is to gather and use data to enable precise genomic selection decisions to maximise the health and efficiency of dairy cows. The project is now enabling farmers in Africa to produce more milk and feed more minds!
